The Parade
A highlight of the festival, the parade captures the creativity and resilience of local residents. This is your chance to get creative with the theme, and show what it means to you, your business, group, etc. All are welcome to build a float or host a walking group.
The Parade runs down main street, from Council Ave to Adams Ave. The newly anointed Citizen of the Year leads as the Grand Marshall, and Miss Iceworm and her court ride the fire truck, among other floats showcasing the years theme. During the parade we announce the winner of the Treasure Chest!
Parade Registration
Parade Rules:
Please do not throw candy or other objects.
Dogs are NOT allowed in the parade.
Do not climb on and off moving floats.
Floats should maintain a steady pace, and only briefly stop at the judging stand.
Passing out treats is welcomed
Please continue your parade float past Tribal Family Services for the Elders to see.
